The place is great for kids, especially with attractions like the slides, wave pool, and swimming pool—they had a wonderful time and really enjoyed themselves. However, the food quality could definitely be improved. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable experience for kids.Read More

Dirty water with cockroaches, insects, food, and even slippers floating inside. You can’t even see your feet in the water. Bathrooms were filthy and flooded. Drinking water tasted like well water. “Unlimited Food” is just a tag—staff refused refills and the food counters had endless queues because they allowed more people than they could handle. The crowd was mostly drunk and created a very uncomfortable atmosphere for families. Lockers looked like a junkyard, and even the welcome foot-wash area was dirty and unhygienic. Save your money, time, and energy. This resort doesn’t deserve 1 star. Extremely disappointing experience at Joyland Resort, Virar. We were promised free pickup/drop, but had to walk 15-20 minutes to reach the bus. We were also made to wait indefinitely for our return drop. The pool had excessive chlorine, causing skin rashes. The slides were poorly maintained and unsafe. We had to stand in line for nearly 2 hours for dinner, leaving our young children hungry and exhausted. The food quality was pathetic. Highly unorganised and unprofessional. Terrible Experience – Not Worth the Visit I had an extremely disappointing experience at this water resort. The food quality was awful, and there was even a shortage during peak hours. The pools had dirty, smelly water and broken, slippery tiles—clearly unsafe and poorly maintained. There was no lifeguard on duty, making it even more dangerous. Power outages were frequent, and the DJ setup was not working, which killed the vibe completely. The rooms were dirty, smelly, and barely livable. Worst of all, the staff was rude and unhelpful. This place was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. The room was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned—dirt everywhere, broken window, and drains that didn’t even work properly. It felt neglected and honestly unsafe. The facilities were even worse. The slides didn’t work at all, the pools were dangerously slippery, and unbelievably, there was dog waste in the wave pool. That alone should tell you everything. To make it even more ridiculous, the waves only ran for about 30 minutes the entire day—what’s the point of a wave pool if it barely functions?
