Listening to the Light is an intimate evening of poetry and storytelling that brings together four distinct voices, each carrying a different way of making sense of the world. Featuring poets Vasanthi, Iswarya, Balachandar, and storyteller Guru, the show moves through moments of tenderness, laughter, longing, memory, grief, and hope, inviting the audience into stories that feel both deeply personal and surprisingly familiar.
Each performer brings their own rhythm to the stage. Some pieces arrive as quiet observations. Others unfold into conversations, confessions, or stories that linger long after they end. Together, they create an evening where poetry and storytelling meet, where silence is given as much space as words, and where listening becomes an act of connection.
Whether you're someone who regularly attends spoken word events or you're stepping into one for the first time, Listening to the Light offers a space to slow down and spend an evening with language that is honest, thoughtful, and alive.
Join us for a gathering of stories, poems, and shared moments that remind us that even the smallest light is worth listening to.
