I booked Ooodles Doodle for my son’s birthday celebration on 18th January, hoping for a smooth and memorable event. Unfortunately, it turned out to be an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. At the time of booking, I clearly informed them that my party would have around 25 guests. On the event day, I was shocked to see that they had accepted another birthday booking at the same date and time, with around 20 additional guests, all in the same café area. This was never disclosed during booking. Had I been informed earlier, I would have never chosen this venue. When I objected, the staff justified it by saying they have a 50-person capacity and can manage two parties. This is highly unprofessional. A birthday celebration requires exclusive space, privacy, and proper coordination, not overcrowding. Despite repeated assurances that there would be no disturbance, the event was completely chaotic. Guests from the other party kept entering our space, and their children interfered with ours. Some children even snatched gifts from our children, which was extremely disturbing. The staff failed to control the situation or take responsibility. Food service was another major disaster. Because two parties were being handled at the same time, my guests had to wait excessively for food. When guests requested repeat servings of items already included in the menu, there were unnecessary delays and arguments. Every time I requested anything, the staff behaved in a rigid and arrogant manner, insisting on rules only when it suited them. However, when it came to their own convenience—like double booking—they felt free to do whatever they wanted. The management was absolutely nonsensical and uncooperative. There was no flexibility, no empathy, and no concern for customer experience. My son’s birthday, which should have been joyful and memorable, was completely ruined due to poor management and negligence. I am writing this review as a serious warning to other parents and customers: ❌ Do not book this place for birthdays or family events. This café overbooks events, misleads customers, mishandles food service, and ruins special occasions.
