Rakshita Ramesh is an accomplished Carnatic veena player from Bengaluru who has made a significant mark in the classical music scene. She began her initial veena training under her mother, Chithra Ramesh, before pursuing advanced tutelage for over fourteen years under Guru Vidushi J. Yoga Vandana. Additionally, she received foundational vocal training from the late Vidwan T. P. Vaidyanathan of Mysuru. A recognized "B" grade artist of All India Radio (AIR), Rakshita has performed extensively at renowned venues and events across the country, including a special performance at Prasanthi Nilayam for Sri Sathya Sai Baba's 96th birthday. She has earned numerous accolades for her dedication to the art form, including the Best Veena Artiste award in the junior category, solidifying her reputation as a talented young exponent of the instrument.
