Ramoji Film City is the largest film studio complex in the world and a major shooting hub in Asia. Currently, nearly three-quarters of the films produced in India are shot here. Visiting this place allows you to see things you have never witnessed before in a cinema setting. For instance, when you look at the foreign house sets, you might wonder if all the movies you watched as a child were filmed right here. Beyond the visuals, the studio offers a fascinating look into behind-the-scenes filmmaking. They demonstrate right before your eyes how a cinema set is constructed, how visual graphics are created, and how sound engineering works. If you get hungry, you can taste a wide variety of cuisines here, though the food prices are a bit high. Additionally, the complex features a theme park with amusement rides that you can enjoy as many times as you want for free. However, your visit is subject to the time slot you booked. Because of these time limits, it is best to plan your schedule wisely to see multiple areas, or simply choose a tour package that best suits your pace. Spanning over 1,666 acres, you will need at least two days to fully explore this massive filming location. Fortunately, there are vintage bus facilities available to transport you between major zones, meaning you won't have to walk the entire distance. Just keep in mind that the buses do not go everywhere, so you will still need to do some walking to explore certain attractions. You should come to this place at least once in your life.Read More

Had an amazing family day at Ramoji Film City! The sheer scale of the place, the beautifully designed film sets, themed attractions, gardens, and live shows make it a truly unique experience. There's something for everyone—whether you're interested in movies, photography, entertainment, or simply spending quality time with family. The guided tour was well-organized and helped us explore the major attractions comfortably. The stunt shows, movie sets, and behind-the-scenes insights into filmmaking were especially enjoyable. The entire property is clean, well-maintained, and offers plenty of food and refreshment options. A tip for visitors: Start early and plan for a full day, as there is a lot to see and experience. Comfortable footwear is recommended since you'll be walking quite a bit. Overall, Ramoji Film City is a must-visit destination in Hyderabad and a fantastic place to create lasting family memories.Read More

Ramoji Film City is worth visiting once, mainly for its movie sets and behind-the-scenes experience. Highlights include the European Street, beautiful fountains, the studio set tour, the Spirit of Ramoji show, lights camera action show, and the motion technology attractions, which were excellent. The stunt show was entertaining, though the storyline and performances could have been better. On the downside, many of the rides felt below average, and several areas—including the Baahubali set—could use better maintenance and upgrades. I also felt there were too many gardens and the aviary, which didn't really match the "film city" theme. The sets themselves are interesting, but the rides and shows need to be more interactive to create a truly immersive theme park experience. I'd recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid crowds. Overall, it's a decent one-time experience, but with better upkeep and more engaging attractions, it could be much better.Read More
