Visited VGP Universal Kingdom recently with family. We went by car—the parking area is a bit past the main entrance, right in front of Snow Kingdom, and cost ₹50 for the whole day. The entry experience needs improvement. Even if you book tickets online, you still have to queue up to collect the physical entry pass and wristbands. The online redemption line was packed, and it took us a solid 20 minutes because they only had limited counters open. Tip: Hold onto your payment receipt, as the entry operators scanning passes sometimes ask to see it. This place was a childhood favorite of mine, so there's plenty of nostalgia, but honestly, many of the classic dry rides feel quite dated and look like they are nearing the end of their lifespan. That said, if you want proper thrills, don't miss Flying Tiger and Power Surge—those were easily the highlights. The water park section is great fun and kept the kids completely entertained. A few practical details: Water & Restrooms: There is a free refill station with 2 taps to top up your bottles. Restrooms throughout the park were surprisingly clean and well-maintained. Food & Drinks: Quick bites and snacks (cotton candy, sweet corn) are scattered around. Meal options include curd rice (₹80), plain biryani, and chicken 65 biryani. At the tea stalls, both tea and coffee come pre-sweetened—I couldn't find an option for unsweetened tea/coffee. Beach Access: The direct walkway to the beach was neat, clean, and a great way to wind down the day. Overall, despite the initial ticketing delay and the aging rides, we had a good family outing. Decent value for a day out with kids.Read More

Well maintained waterpark n rides .. giant wheel s must try for the breathtaking sea view. some rides are under maintenance but still there is lot to enjoy with friends n family. D tube could be sent through ropes to water slides rather big queue waiting down to get it n carry it upstairs. Trampoline park was recently removed i was informed. Check their offer before purchasing tickets. We opted for buy 2 get 1 free combo for universal kindom and marine kindom @1450 for adults (2+1) and @1250 for kids (2+1)Read More

Visited recently to beat the heat and had a blast. The water slides are thrilling, and we spent a lot of time in the wave pool and enjoying the rain dance—great vibes! The standout feature for us was the petting zone; it was such a pleasant surprise to see and pet the rabbits and parrots. Food was okay (standard park fare), but for ₹1000 and timings from 09:30 to 18:00, it is excellent value for money. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!Read More

Many of the rides were in poor condition, and several rides were under maintenance during our visit. Unfortunately, there was no prior information shared before ticket purchase about which rides were not operational. This was disappointing, especially when compared to places like MGM, where they clearly display boards at the entrance listing rides under maintenance for that day. Such transparency helps customers plan better and feel valued. On a positive note, the water rides and water play area were good and enjoyable, especially for families and kids. The food court was decent, with acceptable variety and quality. Overall, VGP Universal Kingdom can be a much better experience if ride maintenance is improved and customers are informed in advance about non-functional rides. Better communication and upkeep would significantly enhance visitor satisfaction.Read More
