Age Criteria * Ice Rink: Suitable for guests aged 4 years and above. * Wonder World: Suitable for children aged 3 years and above. * For combo tickets, children below 4 years are not permitted to access the ice rink.

I recently visited VGP Ice Rink and overall, it was a really nice experience especially during the Chennai summer. Honestly, it felt refreshing to step into something this cool, so credit to VGP for bringing this kind of concept here. They provide proper safety gear and kits, which is a big plus. The ice platform itself is well maintained, and you can tell they’ve put effort into keeping it in good condition. The staff initially helped us wear the skating gear and showed us how to enter the rink, which was useful. But after that, there wasn’t much guidance or supervision even though there were only two of us in that time slot. Maybe they don’t usually assist beginners unless it’s part of their training programs, which is understandable… but a little more attention would’ve made the experience even better. One small thing I noticed some of the staff were skating and practicing among themselves. Not a bad thing at all, but maybe balancing that with a bit more focus on visitors would improve the experience. Also, out of the session time, around 5–10 minutes goes in getting ready, and we had to get off about 5-10 minutes early to remove the gear. So the actual skating time feels slightly less. That said, for a first-time ice skating experience, I managed to skate on my own within 20 minutes and it actually felt really good. Good Experience - YES Will I visit again ? - Probably YES Worth the ₹1000 price ? - BIG NOOO Detailed Experience: reached the place around 10am which is the opening time mentioned in Google. inquired about the details since it’s weekend the price per head was 1060 (incl GST). Though I came early and my car was parked inside the premise parking they still charged me ₹50 for car parking, no clue why. We booked 11:15 slot and was informed it will be 15min briefing + 45min playtime. There was no briefing whatsoever and we started collecting the kit and this is where the issue starts. 90% of the crowd coming our first time visitors with no skating experience. to collect all the kit in the respective counters and wear it will take solid 20 to 30 minutes. as a first time skater before you learn basics and are able to stand on your feet, whistle will be blown stating time over. we started collecting the kit at 11:15, took till 11:40 to get kitted and by 12:15 whistle was blown. We even raised a formal complaint cum feedback to the reception staff but they were least bothered and asked us to leave feedback in Google🙂. You will enjoy and have fun but there will be no scope for learning ice skating as you will never come back soon (unless you've deep pockets). I am not complaining. You will have fun, you will experience something new, they will teach you And everything is good. But the Price to time duration ratio will make you feel that you have been SCAMMED. I will definitely visit again but not anytime soon.Read More
